In business since 1879, Brush Transformers manufactures a wide range of distribution, power, dry type, traction transformers and flameproof transformers along with the ATL range of Tapchangers. We are acknowledged international pioneers in the transformer field, with our flameproof range boasting many ‘world firsts’. Our markets include the utilities, industrial contracting, and the petrochemical, pharmaceutical, oil, rail, steel and coal industries.

In addition to new equipment, we have a comprehensive re-build/repair facility for flameproof transformers and traction transformers. We also have departments dedicated to erection & service and commissioning, spare parts and maintenance.

We have ASTA third-party accreditation to quality standard ISO 9001 and to environmental standard ISO 14001, and design and manufacture to many British, European and international standards. We have first-class test facilities, which fully prove the designs manufactured
in-house and are used by other transformer manufacturers.
